How Brit Lost 24 kgs in 12 Months & Finally Found Answers to Her Bloating!

When Brit joined my 3 Week Body Reset, she wasn’t focused solely on weight loss. Her main goal was to feel better and lose the constant, daily bloat. For Brit, it all started with a recommendation from a friend. “One of my friends had done the reset and was raving about it. She invited me over for dinner and cooked this edamame pasta dish, and I was blown away—it was delicious! I had never tried anything like it before,” Brit shared.

“I wasn’t hugely motivated by weight loss,” Brit explained. “I just wanted to feel better. I play netball, I like to stay active, and I wanted to improve my overall health. Losing weight ended up being a bonus.”

Before joining my program, Brit struggled with bloating and constant fatigue. “I’d been to dietitians before and tried restrictive plans like the FODMAP diet, but I found them impossible to stick to. I felt like there was almost nothing I could eat, and I’d end up feeling disheartened and giving up.”

After completing the 3 Week Body Reset, Brit noticed immediate changes. “The biggest thing for me after the three weeks was how much less bloated I felt. For the first time in years, I didn’t have that heavy, uncomfortable feeling in my stomach.”

But it wasn’t just the bloating that improved. Brit experienced a surge in energy she hadn’t felt in years. “I used to feel exhausted all the time, no matter how much sleep I got. After the reset, I felt like I had so much more energy, and it made it easier to make better choices.”

She also discovered the importance of planning ahead. “I started batch-cooking meals like the shepherd’s pie and freezing portions. That way, even if I had a weekend where I indulged more, I’d have something healthy ready to go for Monday. It made getting back on track so much easier.”

Making Smarter Choices and Staying Social

One of Brit’s favourite aspects of this lifestyle is how it fits seamlessly into her social life.

“I don’t feel like I’m missing out when I go out to eat or attend events. I’ve learned to make choices that I know will make me feel good the next day. If I have a slip-up and feel bloated, it’s actually a great reminder of why I prefer to stick to this way of eating.”

She also shared a practical tip for dining out: “I like to look at the menu beforehand and decide what I’ll order. That way, I’m making an informed choice while I’m still clear-headed—not when I’m starving or distracted.”

The Results: More Than Just Weight Loss

Over the course of a year, Brit lost 24kg—but the benefits didn’t stop there. “I feel like a completely new person. I have so much energy, my bloating is gone, and I just feel better in myself every single day. That’s been the biggest takeaway for me.”
