How I eat is the same as what I teach women for weight balance and optimal gut health
My dietary approach is carefully designed to promote feelings of fullness and satisfaction. The meals are structured to elicit the correct hormonal response in the body for low and steady insulin levels to:
Promote optimal fat burning
Promote steady energy
Keep inflammation low
Each meal is nutrient dense, free of sugar and pro-inflammatory foods and rich in high quality proteins, fibre, antioxidants and healthy fats.
I also design my recipes to be large in size - it’s what I like to call ‘bulk eating’. I do this by using lots of low calorie vegetables in tasty ways as the ‘bulker’ of the meal so that you can eat large portions.
I bust the myth that you have to eat small portions to lose or maintain weight - it’s simply not true if you know how to correctly structure a meal.
Being a foodie, I never want to eat small portions or boring, tasteless food - and I know others don’t want to either!
You truly can eat tasty, large meals as you reach your health goals!
The meals are:
Gluten and grain free
Mostly dairy free with easy dairy free swaps
Sugar free
Very nutrient dense
Rich in protein and gut loving fibre
Flexible and allows for 2 meals out per week
It’s truly an 80/20 approach that produces sustainable results that women can maintain for life.
It particularly helps women who:
Have tried calorie restriction or keto diets before with no success
Are caught in the toxic yo-yo dieting cycle
Have bloating or IBS-type concerns
